1. Order Processing & Dispatch

Orders are processed during our operating schedule. Dispatch times depend on the selected shipping method and courier availability.

Customers will receive an email notification once their order has been dispatched. SMS notifications may apply if enabled by the customer’s device or service provider.

2. Delivery Timeframes

Delivery times begin once an order has been dispatched and depend on the destination and courier service used. All delivery timeframes are estimates provided by couriers and are not guaranteed.

United Kingdom (Mainland)

  • Standard: Royal Mail Tracked 48
    Estimated delivery: 2 to 4 business days
  • Express: Royal Mail Tracked 24
    Estimated delivery: 1 to 3 business days

We may occasionally offer free standard delivery across the UK as a promotional offer. This promotion can end at any time without prior notice.

Northern Ireland

  • Flat-rate shipping: £20 GBP
    Shipped via tracked courier service
    Estimated delivery: 2 to 5 business days

European Union (EU)

  • Shipped via international courier (e.g. FedEx Express)
    Shipping cost: £30 GBP
    Estimated delivery: 2 to 7 business days

Iceland

  • Shipped via international courier (e.g. FedEx Express)
    Shipping cost: £60 GBP
    Estimated delivery: 2 to 11 business days

Other International Destinations

We currently ship only to the UK, Northern Ireland, EU, and Iceland. No other international destinations are available at this time.

3. Delivery Regions

We currently deliver to the following regions:

  • United Kingdom (Mainland)
  • Northern Ireland
  • European Union
  • Iceland

4. Customs Duties, Import Taxes & Fees

For orders shipped outside the United Kingdom, including the European Union and Iceland, customs duties, import taxes, VAT, and any additional fees imposed by local authorities are the sole responsibility of the customer.

These charges are determined by the destination country’s customs authorities and are not included in the product price or shipping cost displayed at checkout.

Scent of the Dunes has no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. We are not liable for any customs fees, delays, holds, or refusals caused by customs clearance procedures.

If a customer refuses to pay applicable customs charges and the parcel is returned or abandoned, no refund will be issued for shipping costs, and additional fees may be deducted from any eligible refund.

5. Order Notifications

Customers will receive email updates for:

  • Order confirmation
  • Order dispatch (including tracking details where available)

6. Lost, Damaged, or Delayed Parcels

Once an order has been dispatched, responsibility for safe and timely delivery transfers to the courier.

Scent of the Dunes is not responsible for courier delays, lost parcels, or damage occurring during transit. Any delivery issues must be raised directly with the courier. We will assist where possible by providing supporting information.

7. Changes to This Policy

Shipping rates, delivery promotions, courier services, and destinations may change from time to time.

Any updates to this Shipping Policy will be posted on this page. We encourage customers to review it regularly before placing an order.
