How long will my order take to arrive?
We aim to dispatch all orders within 48 hours of purchase. Delivery times depend on the courier service chosen, but you’ll receive tracking details by email or SMS once your order is shipped. You can contact us for live tracking details.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
If you need to make a change, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@sotdunes.com. Once an order has been shipped, we cannot make changes or cancellations.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, we primarily serve customers within the UK. We are working on expanding to international shipping in the near future.

What is your return policy?
We accept returns of unopened, unused items within 14 days of delivery. Due to hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of opened perfumes unless the product is faulty. Please see our Return & Refund Policy for full details.
What if my item arrives damaged or incorrect?
If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us immediately with your order number and photos of the product. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund.

What’s the difference between Eau de Toilette, Eau de Parfum, and Extrait de Parfum?
These terms refer to the concentration of fragrance oils in the perfume:
- Eau de Toilette (EDT): Lighter concentration (5–15%). Fresh, airy, lasts around 3–5 hours.
- Eau de Parfum (EDP): Medium concentration (15–25%). Richer, longer-lasting at 6–8 hours.
- Extrait de Parfum / Perfume Oil: Highest concentration (25–40%). Intense, deep, and long-lasting—often over 12 hours.
Why do some perfumes last longer than others?
Longevity depends on fragrance concentration, ingredients (e.g., oud and amber last longer than citrus notes), and how it interacts with your skin chemistry. Applying perfume to moisturized skin or pulse points helps extend its life.
What is “nose blindness”?
Also called olfactory fatigue, nose blindness happens when your brain gets used to a scent you’re wearing and temporarily stops detecting it. Others around you can still smell it. To avoid this, rotate your fragrances regularly or re-apply later in the day.
