1) Return window
You have 14 days from the date of delivery to request a return.
2) Eligibility
To qualify, the item must be:
Unused and unopened
In its original condition and packaging (including cellophane, caps, inserts, and boxes)
Accompanied by proof of purchase
⚠️ Opened or used fragrances, attars/oils, sprays, rollerballs, testers, or decants cannot be returned for hygiene and safety reasons.
3) How to request a return
Email hello@sotdunes.com with your:
Order number
Item(s) you wish to return
Reason for return
Once approved, we’ll provide return instructions and the correct return address.
📦 Please note: Customers are responsible for arranging and paying for tracked return shipping. Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.
4) Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected:
If approved, we’ll issue a full refund to your original payment method.
Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days after inspection.
Your bank or card provider may take additional time to clear the funds.
If the item is returned used, opened, or not in original condition, we may refuse the refund.
5) Damaged, defective, or incorrect items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, leaking, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the item and packaging. If confirmed, we will arrange either a replacement (subject to stock) or a full refund, and in this case, we will cover the return shipping.
6) Non-returnable items
We do not accept returns on:
Opened or used fragrances and oils
Sale or clearance items
Gift cards
7) EU customers – 14-day cooling-off period
If your order is shipped to the European Union, you also have the statutory right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason. Items must still be unused, unopened, and in original packaging.
8) Undeliverable or refused parcels
If your parcel is returned to us as undeliverable or refused, we will refund the product price only, minus any shipping costs. Refunds will only be issued if the items are received back unopened and in resellable condition.
